Total Quarantines by Week- Healthy Persons Exposed to a Confirmed-Positive Case

What is a quarantine?:

A healthy student or employee who has direct exposure to a student or employee with a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 on or in school district property (building, athletic facilities or bus) or school sponsored event.

A health student or employee who lives in the same household as a student or employee who has a confirmed positive case.

Direct exposure is contact for 15 minutes or more within less than six feet. Being quarantined does not mean a person will become sick. It is a public health precaution to see if an exposed person will become ill. Quarantined persons must remain home for a 7, 10, or 14-day quarantine period based on certain criteria. A person who is sick with COVID-19 symptoms or has a confirmed COVID-19 test is isolated for 10 days.
